Size Comparisons - the Mini is much bigger, and roomier, than we thought it would be !

Parked next to a BMW 320i; both cars are designed and built by BMW; the size is comparable!

Parked next to a baobab tree; no size comparison here ... thank goodness!

Views of the inside - it feels like you are in a high-tech race car !

- 6 speed manual transmission
- Tachometer in the front
- Speedometer in the middle
Note: Mini driver don't worry about speed, only RPMs!
- Multi-function steering wheel so you can change stations while cruising around corners

The front offers plenty of space for 2 people.  The back seats can then fit 2 more people.

The cargo area is quite sufficient, and even bigger when the back seats are dropped.

Vacation views - most traveling was done on highways, with only short dirt-road excursions.

The Mini Cooper S has a 1.6L engine that is super-charged to feel like 2.1L.  It has rocket-like acceleration and handles like a go-cart; maneuvering quickly around corners without tipping or losing grip.

The Mini Cooper S gets very good fuel economy (8.5L per 100kms) and can go about 600kms on a full tank.
The engine is quiet, the A/C &  sunroof provide climate control, and the stereo system sounds great.

<=== The new version of the mini is a lot of fun ...  and looks much better than the old ones did!

The only problem is that we are  moving to a left-hand drive  country and have to sell it!
